Question: How do you get cell phones through scanners?

You know the scanners you walk through that beep if it detects metal or something like that. We have them at school and I need my cell phone during the day, not to text friends but for important stuff.

Are cell phones allowed in your school or not? If they're allowed, just take them through the scanners, show them that it's a cell phone, and there should be no problem. If they're not allowed, then even if you could get them through the scanner, that wouldn't help you. You still wouldn't be allowed to have them at school.
